Jellyfish Appreciation Post

This time around in Japan God has been showing me that some of my favorite things are some of Japan’s favorite things too! This started with our trip to Sumida Aquarium and we walked right in to a sign talking about why jellyfish are so special. 😮

I don’t remember anything the sign said and I didn’t take a picture of it… But I believe there was reference to jellyfish being involved in the Shinto creation story. It describes the Earth as chaotic and shapeless, or, floating along like a jellyfish.

Anyway, it brought me joy. As did the whole jellyfish exhibit. Here are some pictures!
