I’m a fan of trying too hard. I like movies that bite off more than they can chew, and I tend to write things that lean in that direction, too. I like sci-fi and fantasy. I like experimenting with structure.

Why I Share Early Drafts
It’s not often that I’m able to get my hands on early drafts of produced screenplays, but when I can, the differences between the early drafts and the final drafts are always illuminating. It’s also always nice to get a reminder that even the greatest of us write terrible first drafts. Sharing all of my drafts feels like a good way to give back to the community.
That’s also why I share my earliest screenplays, even the garbage ones I’m not proud of anymore; I think it’s worth acknowledging how far I’ve come as a writer, and giving people the opportunity to see how I’ve grown.
What Else I’m Into
I like roleplaying games, tabletop and digital; I’m dicking around with making my own of both, but it’ll be years before I make anything I’m comfortable releasing.
I play too much Dwarf Fortress.
I’m trying to get into gardening.
