So we're finally stationary enough that I'm rousing myself from my jetlag- and new-routine-induced slumber to post at least a basic update.

We are currently in Florida! Staying with my parents for the time being, in Bradenton. LA was fun, but mostly just a stopgap; it was nice to see some people there, but we really spent most of our time in a daze, and by the time we weren't jetlagged anymore it was almost time to leave. Maybe I'll do a post about some of the things we did and friends we saw, but I mean, if you've been following my blog, you know I'm bad about posting outside of Japan. (I mean, I'm not great about posting even in Japan. But I'm worse in the States.)

But I wanted to at least put it on record that we're in Florida and answer everyone's second question: we have no idea how long we'll be here for, other than we're assuming we'll be around at least long enough to see my sister's family in early November. We'll probably do an early Thanksgiving with them, which will be fun!

Otherwise, and after that, we have no idea. God has his plans for us and we'll move when he says to move. Last time we left Florida it was just because he leaned on my heart and I just wanted to be physically closer to Japan, so we stayed in Los Angeles for a while and everything worked out in ways that it was clear he'd wanted us there then. So I'm not stressing it.
